Tennessee could have two 1st-rounders in 2017 NFL draft

Tennessee didn’t have a player selected in the 2016 NFL draft, the second year in a row the Vols were shut out.

Tennessee is one of just four “Power Five” schools not to have a player taken in the past two drafts, joining Colorado, Iowa State and North Carolina. But while that stings right now, Tennessee’s 2016 roster is loaded with NFL talent. The 2017 draft should be kind to the Vols and could include a first-rounder or two; the last Tennessee player to go in the first round was offensive tackle Ja’Wuan James in 2014.
